My friend at the local Subway sandwich shop is starting college on Monday. She's nervous because she's been out of school for so long, but I told she would be fine and needs to concentrate on developing good study habits.
I'm so thankful I live in a place where we can better ourselves!
I continue to lead a good but challenging life. Shift work, busy family schedule, kids involved in lots of different activities, wife on the go, 2 kids in college, and hobbies and volunteer work that waits for the crumbs of time in my schedule.
Though it keeps me on edge I am thankful for all of it. I am having lots of fun, healthy, and learning to handle lots of different things at the same time. What a blast!
He amd a friend went to visit the friend's uncle in south Florida. They fished, ate, and hung out. They stopped to eat dinner with my parents and family and made it back home late last night. I'm proud of mt son and thankful he made it home safe.
I love my wife. I love my kids. I love my parents. I love my brother and his family. I love my Christian brothers and sisters. I love my work family. I have a wonderful family and I love them all!
My daughter spent the past two months away from home working at a camp for the summer. This was the first time she had been away from home for that length of time in her or our lives. So beating without her was pretty hard over the summer.
She came back today and his healthy a little wealthier and a little bit smarter for her experience. And I am grateful to have her back.
Even when I know they are going away not to be seen for a couple of months, it's still nice to be with them. Even when I'm not spoken to or included.
